The Thematic Axis proposes an inventory of environmental norms and standards in the Suriname/Guyana and Brazil/Guyana cross-border region. In this thematic area, we will look at the extent to which it is possible to map the following items: Type of practice according to communities; Legislation according to territory; Scope of recycling.
In addition, the project has initiated cross-border environmental monitoring of pollution by satellite (Suriname/Guyana/Brazil), as well as the creation of an e-learning support dedicated to monitoring the evolution of pollutants (anthropogenic or not) in the Amazonian environment by satellite and using ground sensors.
